With unemployment almost at its highest ever there is more need now to be a first class employee. For every job vacancy there are multiple applicants. In the right area employers have the pick of the bunch. From school leavers who although will be earning minimum wage to graduates who will be earning more than minimum wage but not as much as they would have a few years ago and certainly not a salary reflecting their years of hard work and studying. Throw into the mix the influx of skilled and unskilled immigrants and it is plain to see that you have to be hard working and dedicated to keep your job.
It’s highly likely that being a first class employee means different things to different people. For some it means that they have extensive knowledge and for others it might be that they are willing to learn new skills.
For us at All Clean Services we do expect our staff to complete their work to the highest possible standard with the minimum of fuss. Our staff are extremely polite and respectful at all times during their working hours. They know this is not to be compromised and respect that. The rules and guidelines that our staff adhere to are particularly strict. This is partly that the work they undertake has specific health and safety rules and partly because we provide outstanding service to each and every customer. To continue as we have to deliver this level of customer service our staff have to respect our working methods and we find they do and are proud to be a part of a great team. Because our customers will see our staff regularly it is important that our staff adhere to our rules and onsite working etiquette.
As an employer when we advertise a vacancy, we don’t always look at the people with industry experience but obviously that can factor. Sometimes it is good to see that there are new people with the desire to work hard and learn a job thoroughly.
